A recent article in the New York Times got us thinking: are you ever too old for a mentor?

Yes, it’s no news flash, parting-of-the-red-sea sort of statement but: a mentor can help you in your career.

Whether you’re just starting out in your career or are a seasoned industry vet a mentor can provide an unbiased opinion, help you see things in a different way and give you a leg up in navigating your way up the ladder.

They are usually people who are at a high level in their careers and have a proven track record.
